Every woman wants to feel more attractive, more feminine, and more magnetic.
But the problem is, that there are so many tips out there that it gets confusing.
That’s why I went looking for scientific studies that actually tested what increases attractiveness.
And here’s what surprised me the most: a few purposeful changes in your appearance, your body language, and your attitude can make a real difference.
They’re simple, and most of them cost little to nothing.
So here are 7 science-backed ways to increase your attractiveness. This is a sequel to my first article on the topic:
9 Science-Backed Tips to Look More Feminine and Be More Attractive
1. Natural, thicker eyebrows
Thin eyebrows used to be the look. Science says natural might be better.
There was an era when women made their eyebrows very, very thin, almost like a single line. It was considered attractive, and everyone followed it.
But a 2018 study of 922 people found that eyebrow thickness was one of the facial features that mattered most for attractiveness. What was interesting, was that the thicker eyebrows were rated as slightly more attractive on women, especially when people were judging a long-term partner!
So natural, fuller-looking eyebrows may increase attractiveness in women.
And if you wondering if that is true, you can also see this among models and celebrities. Most of them have natural, fuller eyebrows rather than the very thin ones that were popular back in the day.
So here’s how you can apply this finding to enhance your femininity and attractiveness: Instead of making your eyebrows thin, keep them natural and simply groom them neatly.

2. You don’t need a full face of makeup. Start with your upper eyelids.
I know some women prefer to stay natural and skip makeup.
However, research shows that women wearing makeup are rated as more attractive than the same women without it.
But if you don’t feel like doing a full face, there’s a trick. One study tested makeup on different areas: lips, upper eyelids, and lower eyelids. Only the upper eyelid makeup made women look more attractive.
Dark makeup under the eyes actually made them look less attractive.
So if you want to skip the whole routine, try putting makeup on your upper eyelids only!

3. Smile more.
If you want to appear more attractive, don’t forget to smile.
In this research, women who were smiling were perceived as more attractive.
But what’s funny is that this wasn’t the case for men. The researcher suggests it could be because happiness is associated with femininity.
And here’s the best part: when I look more smiling and happy, even when my partner is grumpy, it’s a bit contagious, to everyone around me and to me too.
Maybe it’s the idea of “fake it till you make it,” but it’s definitely a win-win: you look more attractive, and you spread a bit more happiness around.
Your life really changes if you smile and laugh more, and if you are a bit more positive.

4. Be kind.
I sometimes hear that mean, selfish girls are the most attractive, while the good ones, cannot seem to find love. I’ve even seen it myself: when a woman treats a man badly, he sometimes becomes obsessed with her.
But getting quick attention is one thing, and building a long-term relationship is another.
In a 2014 study, women’s photos were rated as more attractive when they were described as kind and honest, and as less attractive when described as mean.
So being kind may make you look more attractive too.
But remember: being kind does not mean being a pushover.
Be kind with feminine boundaries, and only with people who deserve it!

5. Be honest… with a touch of feminine mystery!
Not many women know this consciously, but we rate people as more attractive when they have good character, and honesty is one of those traits. In one study, faces were rated as more attractive when the person was described as honest.
But here’s a little caveat from my personal experience.
Being honest, absolutely.
Sharing absolutely everything with your partner and the people around you? Not if you want to be seen as a feminine and attractive woman. Unfortunately, it can take away some of the spice and mystery that make highly feminine women so intriguing.
I wrote an article about how to be feminine in a long-term relationship, and one of the points I discuss is how to be honest while still maintaining a sense of mystery in a long-term relationship.
For example, if you’re going to the gym with your friend Anna, you don’t need to say the class, the time, and exactly when you’ll be home.
You can simply say, “I’m going to do sports with my friend Anna.” I
t’s still honest, but it leaves a little room for your partner’s curiosity and questions!
6. Smell divine.
Many women know that smelling good is attractive, but not many use scent to their advantage.
If you want to be feminine and attractive, why stimulate only one of a man’s senses, which is usually sight? You have five.
You can also use your voice, which I talked about in a previous article, and your scent.

So how do you create a pleasant, expansive, clean aura?
It’s all about layers. I wrote an article about it here: 10 Micro Hygiene Habits That Make You Look Clean, Elegant And Expensive (Without Spending A Fortune)
And which type of perfume is the most attractive?
I couldn’t find trustworthy research on this.
But in one survey, men chose floral notes as the most attractive on women, with citrus in the top five. Treat it as a starting point, then choose a scent you love.
7. Skin That Glow Thanks To Your Diet.
Many women think of foundation, makeup, or skincare when they want to look more glowy. But did you know that your diet can change your skin too?
I know there are a lot of claims about this on social media, but it has also been shown in research.
In one study, 86% of participants rated faces with more carotenoid coloring (the pigment found in fruits and vegetables) as more attractive. Another study found that eating more fruits and vegetables can change your skin color within six weeks.
So if you eat more fruits and vegetables, especially ones rich in carotenoids like carrots, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin, your skin may glow more and you may be perceived as more attractive.
It’s a win-win: a healthier body and a more attractive appearance.
